![]() ![]() I am on a 10 year old PC ( Q6600 2.4GHz Intel Quad OC At 3.0 on Air 24/7 for 10 years and stable, 8GB DDR2, Asus P5k mbd, 1080 GT nVidia 8GB DDR5, 750 Ti 2GB DDR4/5 nVidia - running between 4 and 6 monitors at any given time based on workload with primary at 3840 x 2160 or 4k and all others at 1920 x 1080 or 1080p ). I've only ever lost a stored session once along with saved tab-groups but I save my configuration as soon as I set anything up so that was an annoyance - it only happened once and I submitted the report that it did happen ( occurred when I hid some of the groups and didn't hide others - all ended up being hid or removed ) The way I associate realms is based on how my GMod Lua Framework auto-loads files based on folder order, recursion and designates realm the same way with the file-name having the ultimate say.ĭirectory Opus isn't perfect either - it isn't the most optimized piece of software, but I've only had 3 crashes in the years I've used it. The icons for Garry's Mod are custom and they represent realm ( where the code is executed: Client as orange, Server as blue,, and / or Menu as green - mixed colors mean shared-realm ). ![]() The theme itself is either Visual Studio 2017, or VS Dark with a few minor adjustments. I could set all of the files to have icons for realm based on folder ( and for some I do, but for folders with many mixed I only show the outliers for ease ). You can truly use a dark theme, and set up unique icons based on file name, folder name, and many other options - for development this makes finding things much easier at a quick glance so if you have any type of eye-deficit then this app has features which will help with that. It lets you save sessions, have multiple panels and is true MDI. I recommend Directory Opus - it is paid and you can integrate / overwrite explorer to use it. having a dark sidebar and then a super-bright center simply makes one side hard to read and the other blinding.Īs for other explorers - here's my take. I don't consider that a 'dark' theme unless the entire window is dark.
